Senior State Cup 2026
We’re excited to start preparing for the 2026 Senior State Cup in Port Macquarie. Below is
everything players and parents need to know about the divisions, eligibility, selection process
and tournament expectations.
Tournament Dates
Friday 4 – Sunday 6th December 2026
Location
Port Macquarie, NSW
Travel & Accommodation
Players must be in Port Macquarie by Thursday 3rd December.
We ask players and teams to organise their own accommodation.
The club does hold some accommodation for Open Prem players who are 18 years or older.
Players under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a nominated guardian.
Following the tournament, under-18 players are expected to remain under the supervision of
their parents or nominated guardian.
Most teams will stay Sunday night to celebrate the tournament together, with players travelling
home on Monday 7th December.

• Women’s Opens — 16 years+
• Men’s Opens — 16 years+
• Under 20’s Boys — 14 years+
• Under 20’s Girls — 14 years+
• Mixed Opens — 16 years+
• Senior Divisions on offer (We will only be sending teams in the below divisions if we meet player numbers)
• Men’s 27s
• Women’s 27s
• Men’s 30s
• Women’s 30s
• Men’s 35s
• Women’s 35s
• Men’s 40s
• Women’s 40s
• Men’s 50s
• Women’s 50s
Player Requirements
Players trialling for State Cup who are not participating in Vawdon Cup will be required to
complete a State Cup Expression of Interest (EOI) form. These players will be contacted
following Vawdon Cup regarding the trial process.
2026 Selections
State Cup selections are made by the appointed coaches and designated club selectors.
Players trialling for the Open or Under 20s divisions are selected based on the club’s
assessment of their ability, position, team balance and the requirements of each team.
Players may nominate to trial for State Cup; however, players do not select or nominate the
division they will play in. The club will determine the most appropriate division and team for each
selected player.
Team Composition
• 14 players per team
• Up to 3 staff members per team
Selections will be based on the relevant State Cup selection process, player availability and the
needs of each team.
Player Eligibility
To be eligible for selection, players must:
• Be a registered participant of Northern Beaches Touch social competitions
• Adhere to all club deadlines, requirements and guidelines
• Be available for the full State Cup tournament weekend

State Cup is a big commitment, but it’s also a great opportunity to represent the club, play
alongside your teammates and finish the year with a weekend of competitive touch and plenty of
fun.
