Northern Beaches Touch Football is excited to open Expressions of Interest (EOI) for players wishing to represent NBT at the 2027 NSW Junior State Cup – Northern Conference.

We look forward to welcoming both returning and new players to the trial process.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for selection, players must:
• Be registered in the Northern Beaches Touch Football Social Competition
• Be available for the entire Junior State Cup weekend
• Trial in the correct age group based on the age they turn in 2027
Age groups are determined by the age the player turns during 2027.
If registering multiple children, please complete a separate EOI for each player.
Please note that teams will only be formed in age groups where there are sufficient player numbers and an appropriate standard for representative competition.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Following the initial trials, selected players will be invited into squad training before final teams and shadow/development players are announced.
Depending on numbers in each age group, players may be invited back for a second trial before squads are selected.
WHAT TO EXPECT
October 2026
• NBT Junior Social Competition resumes after the school holidays on Friday 16 October
• Representative trial process begins Monday 12 October
• Representative teams and shadow/development players announced
• Team training commences
October–December 2026
• Training continues throughout Term 4 and the school holidays
December 2026 – February 2027
• Expect two training sessions per week
• Participation in gala days and lead-up events during the summer holiday period
February 2027

TRAINING COMMITMENT
Selected players should expect:
• 1–2 training sessions per week from October through December
• 2 training sessions per week from December until the Junior State Cup
• Gala days and other lead-up events during the summer holiday period
