A few points below to please be aware of.
E-BIKES- We have already asked all teams and managers to not use the bikes to ride across the fields. It was a MASSIVE disappointment that we spent all night in Round 1 controlling this issue. We have no problem with kids arriving on their bikes and chaining them up. We have a big issue with kids driving across the fields!
So from now on they are banned from entering the field area. We have a ZERO tolerance of this happening again. It is dangerous and disrespectful to everyone who is there either playing, spectating or refereeing.
DOGS- Thank you to everyone who reads and respects this rule. Unfortunately again people wont read this message. We think this rule is in place for obvious reasons. We spent a lot of time re-educating people why we ask them not to bring dogs. When you have over 2500 people moving in and out of an area along with E-Bikes its not a place for dogs. ESPECIALLY up around the clubhouse. Our referees operate out of this area and dogs hanging out is not a great spot for them.
The day after Friday is Saturday and thats a great day to take the dog for a walk.’
PARKING- We will be opening the far western part of the field on the Pony club area for parking. There will be an attendant there collecting donations for our junior and senior rep teams.
COST- $5 cash only
TIME- Carpark will open at 4pm and will strictly close at 8.30pm. We strongly recommend not parking here for the last time slot.
FORFEITS- We have never had so many in the first round of the competition. If your not committed to playing every week please dont register your team next year. You are taking a spot of someone who will always sacrifice 30 minutes of their day for their kids to play touch football.’
Always consider the other team your playing before you forfeit for another event. They have waited all week for a run around & then receive the news that their not playing due to a school disco night or other event.
PLAYER MINIMUM- You can play with 4 players of your own before you need to forfeit. Then you can borrow from other teams. Just to give your opposition a game!
TRAININGS- If your training your team mid week this needs to be done on the AFL fields. NOT the rugby fields please. That is baseballs allocation not ours.
