Teams are not graded completely on ability level. As all age groups have a 2 year age gap we try to grade teams based on that, all younger ages in one division and high side ages in another. This also depends on the amount of teams in a division.
Sometimes we spread the stronger and weaker teams amongst each other.
In the 7s, 9s and 11s we do our best to grade teams on ages and ability. We also understand sometimes teams are stronger than anticipated.
Generally as long as the kids are with friends we put a big emphasis on fun. Its mostly the parents who count the score not so much the kids.
All junior teams are formed through friends as social teams. We do have a limit on the amount of rep players in a team as our priority is to keep park competition an even playing ground for everyone.
If your child would like to play more competitively we have representative teams that they can have the opportunity to trial for.
If your child would like to develop their touch the boys at https://www.ksquaredsportstyle.com.au/ specialise in touch football coaching. Or alternatively we run development days in the September school holidays.
