You may have read that the new Labor Government is set to scrap the $100 Active Kids Voucher.
Active Kids is available for every child in NSW and is used by thousands of families across Pittwater to help them enrol their children in activities. The physical and mental health benefits of this program are immense. The program also provides targeted cost of living relief to families in a fiscally responsible way.
In Pittwater, scrapping Active Kids could see thousands of children (your kids, grandkids, and local kids) withdraw from sports, with families left worse off.
It is vital we send a clear message to the Government that Active Kids matter.
What can we do?
Please sign the community petition which I will be delivered by Rory Amon to NSW Premier, Chris Minns, so that the Government hears your views. Below is a petition QR code you can circulate. If you have already signed the petition, thank you.
