LUCKY ROUND 4!
We are all fingers and toes crossed from our end that we actually get to play some touch tomorrow.
A few reminders and points to consider as we approach Round 4 of the competition tomorrow night.
GAMES- Are 25 minutes long with no half time.
SUBBING- Must be done from the half way side line not the end of the field.
TEAM SHIRTS- Must be worn or you’ll be asked to leave the field of play.
PARKING- There is a lot of parking around North Narrabeen reserve. We recommend not parking on grassed areas as Council will book you. That includes the area along the fence line of the golf range.
DOGS- PLEASE no dogs at the grounds. We request this every year and people either choose not to read or their dogs know better! We understand your dog doesn’t bite or chase balls but unfortunately we have had this happen in the past. There are too many kids and balls around to let Fido come and play too.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS- Are not allowed across the fields as transport or around the club house please. It is too dangerous!!
CANTEEN- We take eftpos and cash in small amounts. There is no BBQ this season due to lack of ‘man power”. The canteen will have dinner options with pies, sausage rolls, hot dogs and dim sims. (Tomorrow night will just be drinks, lollies, chips)
WET WEATHER- Please don’t message us on a Friday asking if the competition will go ahead if its raining. We will announce if the fields are open once Council makes a decision at 3pm. If we know earlier we will notify everyone via email, website and face book.
REFEREES- We have a zero tolerance of any parent/player abuse towards the refs. If your team players or spectators confront a ref it will be reported post game. You will then be given a warning & a possible loss of points. A 2nd warning will be a match ban.
NEW REFEREES- The club has put a lot of new refs through the Level 1 referee course recently. We would like them to enjoy the experience & keep reffing with us for years to come, your support of this will make a big difference to them.
DRAW- Please everyone make yourself familiar with the draw. We have had a few game time and field changes today!
TSHIRT PICK UP- for those teams who still dont have shirts or have ordered extras please come and see us at the desk at the club house tomorrow night before your game to pick up.
INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS- There seems to be a lot of individual players who have signed up to teams. If you have a child arrive tomorrow night who you do not know and they have paid and registered please ask them to come to the desk.
FIELD FLAGS- There are numbered field flags on all fields. If your games are rostered on field 14 or 15 they are the fields out the front of Rat Park, on the pittwater road side.
FIELD MAP- . There are maps at the clubhouse.
2021 – Junior Field Layout Drawing
(This is last years map and hasn’t changed)
TOILETS- Toilets will be be open at the AFL clubhouse, Tigers Rugby clubhouse and at the B1 terminal over near field 14 and 15.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING.
1. THESE ARE KIDS
2. THIS IS A GAME
3. THE COACHES/MANAGERS ARE VOLUNTEERS
4. THE REFEREES ARE HUMAN
5. THIS IS NOT THE WORLD CUP!
Thank you everyone for reading to the bottom.
See you all tomorrow night!
